Miss Jessie

Dance is my first love. I cannot wait to rekindle the flame at All In Dance Academy. I grew up in my small hometown studio where my mom was a dance teacher, so I was literally dancing before I was born. I began competing at age ten and learned the importance of teamwork and hard work. I trained in all styles: ballet (including pointe), tap, jazz, clogging, hip-hop, musical theater, lyrical, and contemporary. I assisted in creative movement, ballet, and tap classes for ages three to six durring my last three years of high school. While attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I continued dancing as part of Blank Canvas Dance Company. Blank Canvas is the largest run student dance organization on campus with over 300 student dancers and choreographers. In my time with Blank Canvas, I participated in over 12 dances and performed them in each semester’s recital. I also choreographed two dances and taught combinations over zoom during the COVID-19 stay-at-home orders. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue dancing, growing, learning, and teaching at All In Dance Academy.
